We tried the Morski pijat, which had refreshing marinated anchovies, shrimp, and delightful smoked mussels, all perfectly seasoned. The second platter was the tuna, olive and shrimp pâté (absolute standout), all creamy and flavorful, served with warm bread. “ Easily the best experience we had in town. We asked if we could do a little wine tasting and the waiter (who turned out to be the owner) smiled and said sure, pouring us each half a glass. We ended up enjoying a few glasses of fantastic wine along with an absolute flavor bomb of a marinated seafood platter. Beeeest! Highly recommended! The bar is hidden in a tiny stone paved alley, with light music and incredibly warm hospitality. That’s what I call a truly authentic experience and exactly what every town needs more of. Truly. “ Konoba Vovo was on our wishlist since we came to Vodice. Located as the only restaurant in a small side street, close to the Church, you could call it a hidden little gem. The young owner refurbished the old wine celar into a beautiful konoba and is offering cold appetizers, awesome wine and homemade deserts as well as liquors. The Konoba is very stylish, traditional and authentic with a hint of a modern time. A super cozy, warm and relaxing place. So if you want a quiet and relaxing evening, in a place where you could feel like home, with your loved ones and friends, away from the noisy, loud and mainstream restaurants on the Promenade, this is your place to be.
